I agree with what direliar said about your art, a little more work on anatomy and perspective would do great things for your art.

Also don't be afraid to use a bit more shadow and contrast in your sketches, to make them more dynamic.

I hope that's the sort of critique you're after. Search the tutorials here for some on anatomy and drawing in general, you may find something to help you there as well

no, it's fine, really. and you're right. I'm kind of a perfectionist here, and that is typically why my lines tend to be muddy. (comes from my Dad. go figure.)

Hi, I saw your request of r a critique through facebook. Hope I'm not too harsh as I tend to be blunt.

What I noticed most about your work is that they lack line variation. I also though having more confidence with your line strokes would result in a more solid appearance rather than muddy lines. Try doing quick strokes and dont be afraid to be "off" since youre only sketching anyways. I find it best not to think too much about being "wrong." and more about looking "right." Whatever those words are supposed to mean in the art world.

Another thing to work on might be refining anatomy and working on more dynamic poses so that it feels a bit less mechanical. The facial proportions seem uneven. I assume most of the works are anime/manga styled, but even those follow the general rules of human anatomy. The poses you don't are probably best analyzed by perspective and balance.

You seem to have a bit of trouble around the neck around which I often have as well. Usually it is due to drawing the head first and then fleshing out the body. Usually it is best to plan out at least most of the drawing before working in teh details. I understand why though since I'm impatient and I wanna see progress.

ha, I also saw your post for critiques on the facebook page. I just joined it today. Just from my brief glance at your gallery, I really liked Sleeping November the best. You seem to really be able to get faces and expressions down well.
